Professional materials include correspondence, manuscripts, reviews of his work, a scrapbook, photographs and radio scripts. Blochman (1900-1975) was a journalist and writer originally from California. He worked as a journalist in the United States and abroad during the 1920s, and after 1928 worked completely free-lance. Blochman wrote many short stories, non-fiction and fiction books and was known for his mystery and detective novels.
